"Mayan presence"

From a previous project shot in Mexico, 2009-2010.

In the Yucatan and Quintana Roo provinces, where Cancun is located, 1.3 million of mayas still reside. Some traditions are kept and the primary language remains the same, Mayan.

"Un Guerrero" the Cuban chapter

More Likely a continuation of a previous project shot in Mexico, but this time in a different environment , La Habana, Cuba. "Un Guerrero" was started about 3 years ago, a photo documentary about the boxing scene in Mexico, shot in few gyms in several towns, from sophisticated ones to completely run down. It will be available on my new website within the next month. As for Cuba… on its way...

7 days in Habana - Jan 2012

Back from Habana, Cuba, productive 7 days but only fashion shoots, no documentary this time. Eat-Shoot-Eat-Shoot-Shoot-Drinkx2 = pretty much what happened!
Definitely one of the best location for fashion shoots I have seen so far. Also, thanks to Ernesto(Montano Brothers productions, Cuba) for assisting the long days of shooting, you the best.

(accidental shot - love them)

(old school Russian Lada, one wiper, cracked window, probably Toyota engine and still running..lol)
